Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs as needed
- Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and systems
- Fabricate and weld as necessary
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Leadership skills to guide and supervise other maintenance staff
